It is an all too typical story.
Andrea's five boys were taken from her in the year 2000 because of an allegation of sexual abuse against her husband. There was a bruise on one of the boys the size of a pinky fingernail on his privates. The boy said that he had gotten it while riding a bicycle. CPS got involved and had all the boys examined. No evidence was found of any sexual abuse. There never was a charge against the mother. The most serious offense she ever had was a traffic ticket.
Andrea was put through the usual hoops. The court ordered her to attend counseling at the YWCA. While there her children were physically and mentally abused at the free daycare. When she reported this, the CPS worker told her they would do nothing as the abuser was not a relative.
Andrea also had to take stress classes, a divorce seminar, and parent nurturing classes at the YWCA. She was told that she was not making progress at the counseling class . There never was a charge against Andrea originally so something had to be created. Very simple. Put her through the hoops and make certain that she is found to fail by the CPS paid counselors. CPS filed for termination of her parental rights. Andrea's court appointed lawyer told her that they would not get a jury trial, but that her trial would be before a judge. That decision sealed her doom. Her parental rights were terminated in November 2001.
The oldest son is now sixteen and plans to return home to his mother. According to past experiences CPS will no doubt dig up some charges against him so that he will be prevented from returning home.
There are no greater oppressors in our county today then the children's (so called) protectors.
God tells us very clearly, as recorded in the Bible, that an accounting will be demanded of each person. But this will take place in the future. I am conviced of this because of other evidence recorded in Scripture. The Bible is the only book in all the world in which the writers wrote history past, contemporary history and future history all with perfect accuracy. On that fact depends my eternal salvation.
Men and women can fool and be fooled. God cannot.
