East German Shares his story |
|
October, 2009
Harold, a middle aged man who had lived under communism in East Germany before the Berlin Wall was torn down, spoke to the group. He shared many examples of injustice and violation of human rights. He told us about government agencies working within the schools to gain information with which to take children from their families. As we listened, it sounded all too familiar – too close to the stories of what has been happening here.
Candidate for Michigan governor visited our meeting to share her views on the needs of Michigan and on the Second American Revolution.
